My cousin had the fish (I honestly can't remember what type) and she said it was good also. It was served with a spinach quinoa risotto, which I stole a bit of, and I reckon I could eat a whole dish of that all on it's own. It was delicious!

I'm not normally a dessert person, but since my cousin was having one, I indulged, and was very glad I did! I had the lime brulee, which was creamy and packed full of flavour, and perfectly crisply flamed on the top. Served with icecream and coconut. Perfect.

While the restaurant was full, I would estimate it seats no more than 40-50 people, so we're not talking a HUGE crowd. 3 staff waiting, and at least 3 in the kitchen that I could see. Having worked in restaurants myself, I genuinely feel the wait times (at EVERY step of the way) were truly terrible.

5 STARS is not enough. You have to experience this winery to fully take in the attention to detail to the wines, food, surroundings and tranquillity.

Cousin had the chocolate marquee, which again I stole a taste of, and it was sublime. Marquee is the richest, most decadent type of chocolate you can imagine, and this was, again, done to perfection.

Visited for lunch on Sunday. We arrived at 1.15 (without a reservation) and were told they may to able to organise a table, but we would need to wait. Fair enough. However, there was an empty table near the window, which remained empty for the next THIRTY MINUTES while we waited, and sure enough this was where we eventually were seated, so I see no reason why we were made to wait so long.

Thankfully for this review, the food itself was absolutely divine! While my steak was overcooked to medium, I was too hungry by then to risk sending it back, and luckily it was a very tender piece of fillet, so I didn't mind that too much. It was seasoned beautifully, really rich in flavour, top notch. The size of the steak also couldn't be faulted, it was enormous! The pairing with a crumbed beef brisket (while tasty) was a little odd to me ... serving beef with beef? I would have preferred some vegetables with the dish, as it was only served with a few slices of roasted onions (and $12 for a plate of side vegies is ridiculous markup).

Such a beautiful place, with amazing staff. Felt welcome from the second we walked in the door. They even stayed open late for us. Will definitely be coming back

So yummy! We had such a lovely relaxing time overlooking the gorgeous lawn facing the water and enjoying beautiful food prepared by top chef's (are they sure their not from My Kitchen Rules?) . Lovely service from start to finish. We will definitely be returning!

Overall, we had ZERO complaints about the flavour, quality, and portion size of the food. Everything we ate was simply to die for. The only change I would suggest to the food itself would be the addition of a decent serve of vegies or side salad. Given how large my steak was, I wouldn't have minded a slightly smaller serving, but with a side included. Just my preference, of course.

When we placed out orders at 1.45 we were told the meals may take a while, but "shouldn't be too long." We finally ate shortly before 3pm. This was a wait of roughly an hour for a medium-rare steak, and a piece of fish. We also had to wait 25 minutes (and ask twice) before our bottle of wine was served.

It is a shame that their service let them down on the day.
